Portal Fund:RISE

In order to invest in the growth of underrepresented founders in our community, the Portal Fund:RISE program will work to assist early-to-mid stage founders with access to programming, mentorship, and resources to allow them to grow their business to the next level.

Program Information

Who: 5-10 early stage companies led by founders from underrepresented groups

What: Up to $5000 investment and 10-week acceleration program

Where: Innovation Portal

When: Launches in March 2026

Why: In order to invest in the growth of underrepresented founders in our community, the Portal Fund: RISE program will work to assist early-to-mid stage founders with access to programming, mentorship, and resources to allow them to grow their business to the next level.

How: Upon the completion of the 10-week program and the accomplishment of the mutually determined goals, business founders will receive access to a spending account holding their awarded funds.
